It's here! 🤩✨Vocal(s): Bernice Nikki Add. Voice Arrangement: Bernice Nikki Guitars, Bass, Drums, Orchestra: Alexander Lexy Mixed & Mastered by Alexander Lexy (IG: @lexyaeolian) I am back with a Japanese cover after 3 years! This time I chose one of the legendary Japanese Rock bands: L'Arc~en~Ciel. I first discovered Laruku from the soundtrack of Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) where they played The 4th Avenue Café. Kenshin was my favorite anime for years, and I'm glad I found quite a few great bands from it! (TM Revolution, Siam Shade... ah, good times). Anyway if you followed me on Instagram, I asked my followers to guess what song I'd sing in my Story. I was pleasantly surprised that sooo many people are still fond of the band; there were so many answers! I was quite saddened that "Forbidden Lover" came last though, I guess the song is not as popular as I thought? 😅 This time I decided to put in the Japanese words and translations to the video since I really want everyone to understand what I'm saying. I think the lyrics to this song can be interpreted in many ways; from an epic warfare on top of the ocean, to the questioning of God, and a death of a loved one... sometimes I like my cryptic lyrics, and Forbidden Lover serves just that.
I hope you enjoy the cover as much as I did! Come follow me in my social media handle to get the fastest updates about me lyfe; and see you next month! 🖤

Oh. My!
It's been a while. I've just impulsively updated the website and blog after not touching this website for more than half a year at 2:30 AM. I'm pretty happy with the updated PROJECTS (they are much more accurate now), and I hope it's easier for people to get information they needed. February has been a ride. I got so many new projects starting on the same time. Feeling blessed and grateful for all these new opportunities. I'm lucky to be working in this field I love so much; meeting new talents and helping them find their voice have always been a joy and pleasure for me. I'll be teaching and coaching vocals until I'm old, brittle, and grey! Anyway, stay tuned for more info soon! I've got some personal passion projects releasing soon, and also updates around my students and new projects with them. Let's see if I can stick to writing blog posts regularly . . . Hi there! I'm back from the dead... and here's my latest cover now live on YouTube: So last year, Tarja Turunen (ex-Nightwish) actually reacted to my cover video of her song "Victim of Ritual". I was completely taken aback and couldn't stop jumping around in happiness -- it's such a great honor! In a little tribute to that, I'm dedicating this video to Tarja and Nightwish; both which I still love dearly and are the reason I'm in metal today. I hope you enjoy it :) Vocal(s): Bernice Nikki (@bernice.nikki)

We recorded the vocal track last year together in iSound studio. Birgi wrote the song and lyrics herself, based on her life experience of love that could only unite in a fantasy. It's a light-hearted pop jazz tune with good vocals -- and an even better live performance so stay tuned for future live shows! Please give the song a lot of support!
Cheers, Bee Well... this is a case of the real better late than never.
Right? . . . Yes, I know that I haven't posted in this blog in a million years, I've also haven't uploaded any video cover for a million years. Let's just say that 2017 was a crazy year for me. I abandoned a lot of things that gave me joy (like, life in general) and sold my soul to demonic workload. But none of that in 2018. This year I promised myself to put moi first. I learned the hard way (yay, first anxiety attack!) that mental health is truly important; and I cannot fully function without joy in my work. Saying that, without getting hung up on what happened (and revisit that pandora box without booze? Nuh-uh), I'm happy to say that I am back (again) on YouTube! |
