This whole experience has really taught me that the simplest things are the most important ones. It's actually a privilege to be able to do basic things like going to the toilet by ourselves and changing clothes etc; but this is the kind of privilege that we would not always have.
I had lots of conversations with my brother who became my driver these past few weeks (bless him), and we imagined that this must be how older people feel. It's an inevitable thing. People get older. And as we grow older, the things we can do independently decrease little by little. It's such a privilege I've always taken for granted, but this injury has really made me stop and think.

On a lighter note, I've launched a new IG account: Pens and Bullets.
