UPDATE • Belated Birthday Post & A 'Thank You' Note

This year has been a wonderful journey where I feel I am slowly taking back the reign of my life.

For me, 2015 was the most difficult year so far (let's not talk about it. 2015 did not happen), so this year has been all about healing, recovery and laying ground foundation to a more ideal future.

Of course, part of what makes this year special is the people who I am lucky enough to meet this year. So I'd like to dedicate a post to thank everyone who made my birthday a special kind of special. 

This year, I got a lot of gifts from friends, family and even students. These are the special gifts from the super talented, super かわいい members of Shojo Complex:

• An original hand-sketched art of me singing my latest Hellfire cover (!!)
• Handmade bracelet with my favorite colors (!!!!)
• Handmade black clay decoration shaped into musical notes and a mic (!!!?!)

(These girls are freakin' talented, and I am always amazed by not only their skills, but also their heart).

​Another surprise came knocking on my door at 23rd Sept midnight when Lexy sent me a message that he was downstairs...

Thank you so much for everyone who sent me messages via social media and personal chats, thank you for the voice notes, the funny pictures, the dinner & drinks, the wonderful prayers, the wishes, the calls, the lovely gifts...

...And most importantly, thank you for thinking of me. You made this year a special kind of wonderful, and I would always look back to this post remembering how much I am loved and cared for every time I feel down.
