My Musical Show is Up on November!

I have been working with Jakarta International Community Choir (JICC) for almost a year now, serving as their Musical Director; and our production this semester will be on November 18th featuring the music from Queen.

This time, we are producing a loosely adapted musical based on We Will Rock You - the musical tribute to the legendary rock band Queen. The show will be staged on Teater Salihara (Black Box) in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

I did say 'loosely' adapted because I'm re-writing the whole show with a simpler plot and changing a lot of characters to fit our group's personality more. 

For those of you who don't know who JICC is, we are a community-based non-profit choir who just love singing. We meet up every Monday night for rehearsals where we'd stage a show in the end of every semester (one semester usually expands for about 4-5 months). Membership fee is very affordable as the main point of this community is not to gain profit, but as a media for people with common interest to gather, sing and have a laugh! (And oh boy, do we laugh every single week)
