Wilkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome, Selamat Datang!

Finally! This website has been an on-and-off work for a year now, I could not believe it's finally done.

I'd like to welcome you to my little corner in the Internet where I will be sharing various (and sometimes random) things from music projects to the latest book I'm reading. Basically really just anything that comes into my mind.

Let's start with my own upcoming project: a new YouTube video cover coming out soon on my channel! 

For those of you who are friends with me in Facebook, you'd know that I've talked about getting a video out since years ago. My last cover of Tarja's "Victim of Ritual" was posted in 2013 and it's simply blasphemy. 

So what's a good song to mark a comeback from someone who loves fantasy, drama, and metal?

Of course... *drumroll*

Disney's Hellfire.

Hellfire is one of my most favorite Disney songs because despite the song being a 'Disney number', the song touches on very dark and mature themes such as forbidden lust, religion, and murderous intent (ooh, yes please).

​The animation sequence on that song alone is considered a classic, and it is one of the songs that will evoke deeper meanings when you listen to it as an adult. This week I re-watched the film, and was shocked by how many innuendos I missed as a kid (there was a time when I too was innocent...)

I'm not changing the lyrics, I think it's quite compelling to imagine a Claudia Frollo falling in love with Esmeralda who is also a woman, and try to play that character with all the complexities using mainly the voice.
